BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BOOK

Enter its world.

The Clavis Inferni is a small Latin manuscript with unusually vivid paintings, gold and coloured signs, a folding leaf and a sequence of spoken addresses. Its dark title opens beside an image of radiant sacred authority.

Our eleven readings follow that relationship from the opening picture through geometry, spirit appearances, verbal command and departure. They explain the particular pages shown in the reading room, with original modern illustrations beside the actual source photographs.

The handwriting is catalogued as late eighteenth century, although the manuscript displays an earlier date. Eleven is our editorial course length, not a claim about historical initiation grades.
